Govt to allot 104 bln rbl from budget on Novatek’s Utrenny terminal
MOSCOW, Jul 31 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will allocate 103.6 billion rubles on construction of a 144.2 billion ruble independent gas producer Novatek’s Utrenny liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the government said in the ruling published on Wednesday.
“The Russian government rules…to conduct budget investment in construction of liquefied natural gas and stable gas condensate terminal Utrenny under the Northern Sea Route federal project in 2019–2022,” the ruling read.
The projected capacity of the terminal stands at 21.6 million tonnes of LNG per year, and its launch is scheduled for 2022.
